How to reach campus:

A. Rental/personal car: If you are a confident driver and can afford it, a rental car might be the best idea to travel from airport to the campus (about 40 minute easy drive, mostly on highway). You can also use the car to visit nearby attractions (e.g., the towns Alaçatı, Çeşme, and Urla, and of course beaches). There are plenty of free parking spaces in campus all around. There is no traffic at all around campus.

B. Taxi: The cost of taxi from airport to the campus is approximately €50.

C. Public transportation:

Transportation from Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) to campus:

Step 1 : Ride on the bus having 202: Cumhuriyet Meydanı-Havaalanı code. This bus runs every hour all day from Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB).(Fee: 4 TL)

Step 2 : Get down from the bus at “Fahrettin Altay Meydanı-Pazaryeri Durağı”. This travel takes about 25 minutes.

Step 3 : Ride on the IZTECH mini-buses, bearing the sign “IYTE”, which are at the Bus Terminal across the bus stop “Fahrettin Altay Meydanı – Pazaryeri Durağı”. These mini-buses run every hour from 08.00 AM to 11.00 PM. (Fee: 3.5 TL)

Step 4 : This travel takes about 1 hour. Get down from the minibus at “Matematik Bolumu”

Transportation from Coach Terminal (for Intercity Buses) to campus:

Step 1 : Coach firms in Turkey have cost-free services from Coach Terminal to determined points in Izmir. When you get down from the couch, find the service which departures to the Fahrettin Altay-Üçkuyular. (No charge)

Step 2 : Get down from the service in Fahrettin Altay-Pazaryeri Durağı. This travel takes about 60 minutes.

Step 3 : Ride on the IZTECH mini-buses, bearing the sign “IYTE” which are at the Bus Terminal across the bus stop “Fahrettin Altay Meydanı – Pazaryeri Durağı”. These mini-buses run every hour from 08.00 AM to 11.00 PM. (Fee: 3.5 TL)

Step 4 : This travel takes about 1 hour. Get down from the minibus at the “Matematik Bolumu”.
